I used to be a hard core Delonghi fan girl but I have had to return the last 2 Delonghi machines I purchased I don't know if its bad luck or their QC has gone down. but i recently got my first Breville because a hell of a close out sale and I am supper impressed, and when its time to upgrade will likely be going with breville again

Have had the breville impress for 2 months now, apart from the ease of use and the great extraction I don't have coffee grounds all over the bench anymore, brilliant,
used to be such a messy affair. Re: Tamping, I always tamp twice slowly, seems to work better that way.Thanks for the review, it's spot on regarding the Breville.

The 2 button on the Delonghi isn't just double the water, its also double the grind for the 2x basket.

You did not have the 2x button pressed for the Delonghi and you were using the double basket. Also grounds were a little below the line in the basket.

If you want to polish the shot with the Prestigio, just keep the lever down when you take the portafilter out. It with have the same effect as the twist of the tamper, but you twist the portafilter instead.

Hi, which would be the best option from these coffee machines below. Which makes the best coffee ☕️ and which do you prefer between the following...DeLonghi La Specor OR Ultimate DeLonghi Dedicialista Arte OR Delonghi Prima Donna I'm so confused about picking the best machine.

First, let me say I love your videos. You guys are great. I have watched quite a few. Love them! As for this comparison, I wanted so badly to love the Breville but alas I'm not "impress"ed. My 2x tamp actually came out crooked on one of my fills. One of my other fills went over, like by a lot and I wasted good coffee on shaving the access. Two of my shot attempts, though in the "espresso range", poured out lopsided: runny on one side and barely a dribble on the other but yet the tamp was good and it looked even. (I had it on auto every time.) But, my big complaint is the Breville allowed the machine to run when the water reservoir was not even attached. That's scary and I'm sure not good for the machine. The Delonghi will not run and lights up when there is no water in the reservoir or when the reservoir is not in place. Sigh. The other issue I found was that the hot water spout was near the edge and made a mess when pouring water. Sorry, Wendy. I tried. I'm either getting the Prestigio or sticking to the la Specialista Arte.

Does the espresso impress come with a manual tamper or can you buy one that'll fit? I love the convenience of the dedicated tamper, but i do want to be able to do it manually.

Do someone understands filter button on Sage? You can choose berween small and big cup, but it has nothing to do with choosing between big or small filter, but between single or dual wall filter. But knowing which is which is very weird. Anyone lost about that?

yeah the difference is the breville actually works and doesn't come entirely broken out of the box. delonghi is trash - Ive seen MANY people experiencing this in the comments of various videos.

There is no comparison, ,, I had both .. the group- head on my 4 year old lespecialista cracked , , tried the breville….One week later it went back.. feels flimsy, does a weird steam purge, , when you boil water the panel steams up. the tamper is not smooth.I was going to get a new Delongi but I patiently rebuilt mine..first cup out on a 4 year rebuild blew the breville away.. NO CONTEST . they are basically the same price…l’especislita wins hands down- sorry
