I started investing in JEPQ in October as a good monthly dividend income

I hold SCHD, O, and JepQ in my HSA. When I need to use HSA I stop reinvesting until the cash position replenishes then it's back to building.

300 shares here. This is boosting the overall yield of my portfolio, and this volatile market condition bodes well for covered call ETFs. However, this is likely to underperform the S&P in the next bull cycle.

I use my 401k as my “growth” portfolio which is matched by 6% (S&P500 fund) and I invest heavy into Jepi in my ROTH IRA as my “income” portfolio 🙌🏼 best of both worlds

Yes. I just started investing JEPQ in my Roth IRA.

both brother companies are great. JEPI and JEPQ

Yes, current monthly “dividend” (quoted because portion of it is taxed as regular income) covers monthly mortgage and health insurance premium.

I'm happy with my 100 shares! I think it even rivals JEPI.

Got 10 shares last month and got my $5 for the month. Lol this is definitely my biggest dividend stock in my portfolio. My portfolio for a 36 year old isnt much to look at considering i started it last year. Roth IRA. I still can not understand why i never thought to invest in my future. I always saved money, just didn't get into investing at all until 2020 and make almost 10k just buying and selling. But now im looking at 20+ years of investing now for retirement and to also try to begin to create a type of wealth growing tool for my young children

Many, if not most of the companies for JEPQ we already know and use on a daily basis. Some of these holdings include Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Lowes, Amazon, and of course, the big ones, Microsoft, apple and Tesla. I think this is a very good ETF for the beginning, investor like myself.

I just started with dividend stocks. I have AAPL, MSFT and today I added JNJ. For now I have to save some money for a new stock and I probably will keep it to blue chip dividend stock. Looking forward to your next videos, they are very helpful!

Only time will tell. It is too new to really know how it will hold up in different markets. JEPQ and JEPI type ETFs are better for people entering retirement that care more about getting distributions.

Dividends in JEPI fluctuate. That isn’t a guaranteed return as an FYI

I ended up selling my few tesla stocks a little early. Went up another $25 today. I had an average of 165$ and sold at 420. I was going to hold but wanted to free up some money to buy more

I’ve got a substantial amount invested into Jepi, it’s actually my largest holding.

when it comes to Jepi, Jepq, or Divo, I like Divo a lot better, I think it'll have better returns in the long run and it being a 50/50 ETF, holdings to calls, it get taxed less with more growth. Because of this I give Divo the green light over Jepi and Jepq.

I believe that JEPQ is, at THIS time, a better investment than JEPI. Why? Because JEPQ is NASDAQ based, and the NASDAQ has been hit harder, which means you can get more growth in the future from it than JEPI. It is essentially trading at a discount relative to JEPI. This is a long term 5+ years perspective though. Shorter term, I suspect that JEPI might be a LITTLE bit better. I don't expect either one to grow at the rate of their respective underlying market objects, but both should do so, and in 10 years I believe the NASDAQ will outperform the SHARE PRICE appreciation of S&P 500.

Since I'm on the 10+ year time frame, I've got my 100 shares of JEPQ. And I'll be getting close to a new share every month, as I'm DRIPping it.

Selling calls and capping the upside to a growth focused index seems counter intuitive
