the reason for the difference in chapter numbering was because the PCUSA added them at the end while the PCUS inserted them elsewhere in the WCF - fouls up doing comparisons in word processing software. BTW the EPC version is in modern English, applaudable but also fouling comparison software

I knew about changes regarding the relationship of church and state, and possibly the teaching on the Antichrist, but didn't know about the extra chapters added and later removed or relocated.

See Free Church of Scotland (Continuing) and original, unaltered Westminster Standards. The 1647 Confession, Catechisms, Directory for Worship, etc.

Westminster along with its extremist Puritan counterparts has some pretty wild theology.

For example Westminster theology states that any making of a representation of God, Christ, or the Holy Spirit, even just imagining it in your head is sacrilege and in opposition to God.
