My first impression is that he's referring to a list of key apology phrases without actually addressing anything specific. He seems to be referring to notes with bulltet points.

Notice how he said “I had to go to therapy” not “I realized I needed therapy” or “I started to going to therapy” or even simply “I have been in therapy”.

I think the fact that Diddy not only denied all the allegations against him but also accused the women of being financially motivated is a very clear indication that this is a false apology. He claims to have been disgusted enough with himself to seek professional help through therapy, rehab, and spiritual counseling, yet he still tried to DARVO his way out of the situation when his behaviors were made public. A changed person would not have done that. Classic abuser. Textbook.
