Warren Buffet said the reason Berkshire Hathaway is so expensive is because he didn't want to split the shares. It's intended to drive away traders who just want to make quick buck.

Berkshire is a good business, stock split or not.

As your video showed... Rather than do a stock split, they created the Class B shares (currently about $206 per share) allowing the everyday investor a chance to buy whole shares. The class B shares are essentially 1/1500th of each Class A shares or thereabouts at this point. In the end, investors will achieve the same return regardless of what share class is owned. That's really all that matters.
