Mr Abel should be very proud to earn the trust of a man like Mr Buffet. Salute Mr Abel.

The market trend can turn around very quickly. In fact, the indexes often switch from a bear market to a bull market when the news is at its worst and the mood of investors is at its lowest point. I read an article of people that grossed profits up to $150k during this crash, what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist?

Buffett has tons of charisma (as did Munger) and Abel literally has zero. I'm sure he's a fine executive, but it won't be the same.

I wish we had more companies that instead of buying businesses and taking them private, stayed a public holding enterprise like $BRK.A

As an investing enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. . I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?

Warren does not sound that great.. his voice is not the same and it has nothing to do with Charlie's passing...nonetheless Warren and Charlie have had a better then expected run. And are the GOATs!!

Charlie is greatly missed! My eyes weren't dry when Warren said "Charlie?" accidentally when he meant to say "Greg?". Having said I really missed Charlie, I think Warren is known to make all the important decisions (good and bad ones) without waiting for nor requiring Charlie's approval. Still, it was so nice to having Charlie as sounding board or to chat when Warren needed and vice versa (re BYD and Costco all those years ago).

Berkshire is, in a sense, is what the original definition of a hedge fund is.

US treasuries is “going to be” the safest! That means the global order is static. Just because the future has been good to you in the past does not mean it will continue to do so. Past performance even for decades - just like WB’s life he described - can be pure luck & no guarantee of future success.
