Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on 1/ Feb presented the Union Budget 2023, the fifth budget of Modi 2.0. In the last full-fledged Budget before the general elections next year, Nirmala Sitharaman said that the Indian economy is on the right path and heading towards a bright future. In a big boost for taxpayers and the economy, Sitharaman announced major changes in tax slabs under the new tax regime and a big hike in allocation for railways and capital expenditure. The main concept of high speed rail is not connecting cities, it is to group cities and reduce the population density while combining their economic powerhouses. When Mumbai-Ahmedabad is connected by the legend Shinkansen, The two cities will start seeing high rises residential building alongside the railway tracks close to the stations proposed. This will reduce the density of the cities and allow for an overall development rather than some cities in India getting all the development while the other lag behind. Till now cities were feeding off each other, after bullet trains (air connectivity will become cheaper on those routes becase of competition) they will work together as one.

5 lakh Km ki bullet train banani chahiye hamko. Aur 1 lakh Km ki hyperloop. Seedha matlab har village har district tak bullet hyperloop honi chahiye by 2030 max. Then goes inter gallaxial travel and flying cities and inter galaxial movement of our humanity. Try to make flying expressways until moon and across milky-way. Flying states and flying counties across solar system goes next where our nations can fly in galaxies.

India has not completed the short 500 km bullet train since the project started 5 years ago.
By contrast, China completed 17, 000 km bullet train lines in last 5 years. 😅
