Kia EV6 AWD vs Hyundai Ioniq 5 AWD - Quarter Mile Drag Race 😃

Drag racing a Hyundai Ioniq 5 AWD in my Kia EV6 AWD. These electric vehicles both share the same E-GMP platform from Hyundai Motor Group, so they have the same AWD EV powertrain and are very quick. I was excited to race the Hyundai Ioniq 5 AWD with my Kia EV6 AWD because although my Kia EV6 is heavier, I have lightweight forged Titan 7 wheels which help. If you could find an i-Pace and long range model 3 to go up against that would be great. Both felt faster than the EV6 to me, but I didn't very much seat time and now they're sold out in my area.

I have to say this is the most boring drag race to watch from outside. No pops or exhaust or anything dramatic.

That said when I’m in my ioniq5 and I’m pulling fast away from sports cars I’m laughing at how shitty they must feel 😂
