There is a special filament that they use, it isn’t made of tpu

It's made with a very special material with SLS tech. Way better than trying to use TPU.

The PEMA filament is found to be better with dribbling… it’s not made by Bambu Labs but I saw someone use it with the P1S and it turned out fine!

Because sometimes if a ball isn't going higher when you dribble it means you should dribble harder, like in soccer (basketball is better)

I believe Uncle Jessy has a video on it. Its not sized like a regular basketball, but it bounces well.

...but Wilson's airless ball bounces like a normal basketball... yours doesn't. Maybe that's why Wilson charges a premium? When you can print one that responds like a real ball for less than $2500, then make another video.

What percent infill did you use? Great video!

TPU is bad for basketball. It doesn’t bounce well.

Better option is $60 flex PLA that will give similar bounce and doesn’t crack.

You should use PEBA Filament I've heard it's the closest to the real thing

How did you get the supports out of the middle? I noticed when you were printing it there was nothing in the middle but mine always puts trees or the full structure inside the ball for some reason

Well community already figure out the project, know its just matter of time and know what best material to make almost equal wilson one.
