the flaming gas station on shoreline will drops frames alot when insside the fire but when you do the jump over and dont look at the fire your frames will go back up lol

Last night was honestly my best experience performance-wise since I started EFT 4 wipes ago (I played on Shoreline, Customs and Interchange with some friends). No FPS drops, buttery smooth scoping transitions all around both indoors and outdoors, and my rig is not an absolute beast. And finally coming back to colorful maps really pleased my eyes 😅

I don’t see what’s so “divisive” about this patch? Here’s what’s objective, if you have the spine to handle the truth:
- snow was better for the game, it passively fixed issues with lighting and visibility, made the game way less campy, we’re now back to clearing bushes and not seeing jack shit
- performance isn’t up or down, it’s broken. I run the game on 14700k, 32GB 6000mhz RAM, and 4070Ti and drop into 60 FPS on Shoreline at 1440, which never went below 100FPS before
- microtransactions for storage space are fine, people are ridiculous for crying about this
- recoil didn’t need touching. While I don’t care about pistols, SKS and shotguns, it shows a trend that they might start destroying recoil on other weapons too

It’s just absolutely insane how out of touch BSG is, it boggles my mind.

As a eod user, as long as you won't be able to buy actual in-game items (money weapons armor etc) then it's fine. Being able to buy clothes is we can argue it's too op but it barely changes how easy you are to spot

My frames went from 90 to 45 lmao I just don't understand how they push out 14.0 and it's pretty solid not much to complain about and then 14.1 is basically everything is bad

I don't mind microtransitions unless they give you an advantage in Raids. Stash and skins, why not.

Personally, if people want to pay extra for "easy mode", that's their business. That's EXACTLY what i thought about EOD... easy mode. Much of the grind of the early game is prioritizing the limited stash space like a resident evil inventory. I look at streamers doing 4 hour streams and just dropping everything into stash without caring just to get back into raid as quick as possible. That suits the streaming format cos who wants to watch stash org. Personally, it's a part of the game I enjoy and grinding towards EARNED stash space, level 4 vendors without the early rep and Epsilon case... for me is a huge part of what i want to work towards as far as end game.

I think it's smart from bsg, won't effect other players... other than those who pay for it will be able to go into raid more often (making them loot pinatas more often and possibly having the effect of more constant players in game).

I have no desire to even get the upgrade for free as a gift precisely because it would rob me of the grind I most enjoy about the game. If others want to waste money on easy mode and it pays to keep a game I like alive... Meh, cool.

Literally my first scav run after the update put me into a unending queue time waiting for a match I waited thirty minutes then I got kicked like bruh

I noticed this yesterday and I thought it was weird because when the snow first started people were complaining about their FPS because of the snow and I was having no problems but as soon as it went away, I started experiencing 60 FPS at some points which is really weird because I definitely didn’t have that problem before or during the snow
That being said, I miss the snow 😢 I definitely like the idea of seasonal, but it needs to be fair and equal it doesn’t snow in Russia for a month and a half and then stop, so why are we getting green forest 90% of the year and snow 10%? It’s a pretty lame change winter is not even over, but the snow is gone

the pistol recoil is so bad now, and i still have to do stirrup lol. apparently they also nerfed the loot on streets, but i only saw a few people on reddit mention that who said they heard it from the cheater discords, so im taking that with a large helping of salt.

Regarding performance. Personally frames did not improve but it's way more stable. No sudden drops like before. At the same time my friend has way worse performance
