It honestly felt like a detective Clone wars episode. At the end, I kinda wanted helgait( the old Separatist dude who was the villain) to say “If it wasn’t for u mandolorians, I would’ve gotten away” lol.

With this episode I’m now expecting anyone from Owen Wilson, Ben Stiller, Patrick Stewart, Bill Murray, Paul Rudd, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Ryan Reynolds etc…. To appear any time.

this feels like it should have 20 more minutes for bo and dins interactions with the privateer Mandalorians

I feel like bo katan is taking over the show… I love her as a character but I like Din being the main character, and he feels like a side story this season

Nite Owls when Bo-Katan get the Darksaber without fighting Din Djarin: "Ah shit, here we go again!"

Props to the designers of the Quarren ship. When I saw it I immediately felt like this was from Mon Cala, but not quite Mon Calamari. They really nailed that one.

This felt like a mid season episode, not the third last episode. It should have set up the finale, and reveal Gideon if he is in this season.

Din is a great side character in The Book of Bo-Katan. I think he should get a spin-off show.

It felt like a Clone Wars episode, lighthearted with a friendly ending.

It does feel that they're going to have season 3 and 4 feel as if it's one whole season I think. With season 3 setting the scene for season 4's continuation.

My favorite part was when Grogu said "It's grogin' time" and grogued all over them.

It was fun and fine for what it was and wouldn't have an issue with it if we had 20 episode season. but for only 8 episodes time is limited. they spent only 5 minutes at the end dealing with the dark saber and line of succession. I really felt they could have done so much more there and fleshed out this group along with Bo and Din.

I enjoyed the episode for the most part, but I did not like Din Djarin giving up the Darksaber. After the episode showing his leadership this episode, Bo even had that look on her face. Plus no payoff with him and the Darksaber? I thought this was weird and a shallow writing choice. Just Bo-Katan, again? Seriously?

I think there will be a twist where she either dies or gives it back because she realizes she is not the one to lead. It just felt shallow.

I feel like the ending might have worked better for me if it was switched around: Have Mando give Bo Katan the Darksaber first, then she and Axe Wolves duel over it. Would help make it feel more earned, as opposed to it just being a technicality.

I've said it before but I'll say it again, I feel like Mando has became too popular for it's own good. It's far too commercialized.

The only thing this episode that annoyed me was the Darksaber part…how we just gunna backtrack and hand Bo Katan the saber yet again without truly earning it. Honestly, a lot of this season is backtracking on the stuff season 2 set up…Grogu’s with Din in the opening of the season, Din is redeemed and back to default cult member straight away, him winning the Darksaber seems to have had no importance and Moff Gideon just escaped easily.

A whole lot of weird choices are being made this season, it legit feels like they’re just making stuff up as they go.

I really enjoyed the episode, up until the ending. Bo Katan didn’t earn the Darksaber. Every time someone has won the Darksaber, it was through a duel. The enemy that “defeated” Din ambushed him, so he didn’t lose it to them. Thus, Bo shouldn’t have been able to earn it by defeating that enemy. Plus, from a story standpoint I think it makes more sense to have Din lead Mandalore. It is a lot more interesting to see the reluctant leader, as well as the main protagonist, become leader, rather than the person who has tried and failed at leading at least twice.

The final conversation where they handed over the old dude who was behind the droid's malfunctioning seemed very NPC-like and something that would be on a game. Other than that, it was pretty good.

This season has just been putting the backpedal to season 2. Grogu is back and Din gives the Darksaber to Bo. It's like they realised they wrote themselves into a corner at the end of season 2, and didn't really plan this out.

I found this episode fascinating to see what droids do when they're not doing their jobs; I found it very touching that they are happy to work as a way to thank their makers for their existence and for their second chances for the battledroids
