I am blown away by this cool information John Paul!
I have a tip for those who do not have a webcam or a computer.
You can simply login through web browser on a phone or other device with either wifi or cellular data and use its camera to do the job. It says it may have limited features but still doable and makes for a completely mobile setup. This is what I will try since I have already been using an old cell phone as my camera when I want to share jam sessions or go live. But the fact that we can go live in multiple places is incredible!

I just discovered Restream scheduler. It is extremely helpful as I have poor Internet for streaming in my remote location. Also it's wonderful because I plan to shoot vids off grid, with scheduler we can maintain all the benefits if Restream and live premiere our pre recorded videos giving the ability to interact with the chat, which as you know for a musician is tricky. It is a wonderful feature! And it works with the free version. Nice!

Thanks for this informative video John Paul, it's great to have a video from the prospective of a musician. Question: I don't want to lose my audio effects like reverb, so want to use my USB Mackie Mixer. I have a simple set up and don't really want to use OBS. I use one vocal mic, one acoustic guitar and one camera. I also have a scarlett interface. What set up would you recommend for multistreaming to get the best audio?

Fantastic video/channel! I noticed that if I connect my USB audio interface to restream live studio directly from the browser ( chrome/mac book pro) the sound is much worse than if I stream from OBS or Ecamm using restream.Do you know why/how to solve this? I would like to stream more from the browser, much easier setup and faster, but there is a real big difference in sound quality.Many thanks in advance.

Hi. How are you handling high quality audio to video? For example. If you want to use your phone to record video. You add the audio later in an editing software? I know there are adapters to go from an external soundcard into the phone input, but then doesn't that mean a loss of audio quality because of the poor preamp quality of the phone? Thanks for your reply. It's a bit aside with regard to the topic of your video, but I guess it's important also when you want to stream high quality audio.

Really good info. One question.
I'm sitting about 6 feet from my computer screen. So I'm trying to find a way to see the comments without having to leave my piano to get close to the screen. And I'm assuming that if I have the chat on the screen and made the text big enough, it'll be huge on the audiences screens.
So is there a way to have the chat show up in my 2nd iPhone?
