Finally going home, foster boys surprised in adoption ceremony

The brothers were 7 and 10 years old when I met them last October. Tre and Ke'lynn had been in Child Protective Custody for three and a half years. Almost the entire time they had lived in separate foster homes. "I want to see him every day and I don't," said Ke’lynn at the time.

One month after the story first aired, someone stepped up.

When those boys started crying, so did I. That man is an angel, and I hope that people keep stepping up and being good people for kids who need it.

When that little boy cried at 1:00, I cried with him. No child deserves to suffer. I’m glad that they’re together now.

The word “I GO HOME” when the older boy replied, brought tear to my eyes. For those who has a home to go to might mean nothing, but to these boys, it’s very significant. Because now they have a HOME not a HOUSE to go to.

The body language and facial expressions of the 2 boys say it all .... they are safe and happy 😀

What a sick world we live in that children have to go through these horrible anxieties

My son was 3 1/2 when we went to court and it was very important to him that he not be a foster kid any longer. Afterwards he said "I went to see the judge and it is done". He will be 35 this year.

This is why im going to adopt kids instead of having them.

Everyone deserves a future, regardless of who gives it.

Everyone.

He obviously loves them and takes wonderful care of them. He may also know the pain of rejection. They are fortunate. Kids don't judge peoople, they just know love.

What happens now in your life?

I go home.

THAT says it ALL.

Everybody deserves a home & a family that loves & accepts & supports them. So happy these boys finally got what they deserve! :)

"I GO HOME"! That is so special! What an amazing Dad to take on these young boys. What a blessing the brother accepted them and the grandma clearly stepped into the role! Praise God for GOOD people!
