BBC News Countdown '21 Theme

The iconic BBC News ‘countdown’ trailer has become a global icon and subject of several dance music interpretations after the British comedian Bill Bailey suggested that it could stand the abuse.

This version is our second mix (with better video) based upon the 2015 ‘club remix’. We gradually replaced the keyboards and percussion and added a screaming guitar solo - which strangely nobody else has attempted. This was recorded in the Covid-19 lockdown of May/June 2020 so the three musicians have never actually all met (let alone performed together).

Drums With Everything is a private music project - usually adding my own drum tracks into existing favourite folk songs. Played on an extended TD-30 Roland digital drum kit, recorded on NCH Wavepad and mixed on NCH Mixpad. Headphones recommended.

All songwriting and performing copyrights are acknowledged - any artists unhappy with these interpretations can request them to be removed.
