I love how far you have come the difference is astonishing... From the way you talk to your audience to the materials you had/have...anf yet the results were still amazing back then!

I stumbled upon your channel today, and was awestruck by your abilities and creativity. Then I noticed - this tutorial has been circulating all over Facebook like mad! Of course you're the one to do it! Incredible. :)

Okay so when I was in robotics I actually used this as an idea for the phone holder on our bot. Gotta connect the cables somehow and even told thw judges about your channel. Wrote it in the journal. Hand wrote the link and everything.
It looked nothing like the charger sure but we did get the Innovative Design award that year. A battery and phone case, had the wires soldered and properly tucked away, and used a piece of farm equipment as an idea for the arm to have 360° radius to pick things up.

But the rest of the team neglected their journals and we never moved on. They dismantled the bot once I retired from the team. I still have pictures and it was the best bot I ever made while on any team.

Thank you for inspiring me with that old desgin btw. Idk if I ever sent you guys a message but you did inspire my team and a few of the teachers at my school. I constantly was sharing links. I graduated a year ago so idk if they subscribed but I hope they did.

I am gonna build a phone station for myself now.

Okay. I haven't even watched the video yet. But I can honestly say that when I saw the icon in my recommended I have NEVER clicked a thumbnail so quickly. This wasn't even something I knew I needed. Thank you for opening and blowing my mind at the same time.

Okay, just realised how that sounded.

For some reason, YT recommended this one to me today. I watch your more recent videos pretty regularly, and had no idea they go back so far. You look so different today!
