Mann Cull the Weak is so good. When one of your toons went half-mindflayer and accumulated all of the parasites - it turns into "any non-boss enemy has half as much health", because most regular enemies in act 3 have 50-70 hp, and cull the weak just makes anyone below 30 die instantly when sneezed on by your half-squid :D

Probably my favorite mission in the game. It's so satisfying to save everyone on honor mode.

Run haste
Flight boots
Misty step
Potions that allows haste
Warrior bear ability that grants allies extra distance movement.

When I was in the iron throne, Shart was in the throne when it collapsed (along with my Tav and Minthara). For some reason Shadowheart survived the collapse with 9 HP and I have no idea how.
So instead you can just have an unkillable Shart

Omeluum can transport you back to the sub, no way I could've saved everyone without that! I've no idea how you get through that door if you cant fly though 😅 Had no idea they washed up on the beach if they 💀, that's dark

Between flight, haste, potion of speed, plane strider, crushers ring, transmutation stone and some passive for walking speed you can go around an entire thing in one turn.

It took be a few times cause i didn't have the right set up going in blind but i got everything and saved everyone in this part. Probably one of the most satisfying parts of the game.

Be careful if you have unstable blood. Blew up 6 of those poor gondians when I attacked one of the fish people, I didn't realize I was about to attack it with fire in a pool of the blood.

If you've been collecting each one you can from act 1 to 2 and beginning of 3 in wrymwood you should find a ship on the lower path by the beach through multiple traps and a possible Orin interaction. A cursed ship is docked you can loot after helping the guild members. By then you should have enough tadpoles for all illithid unlocks

Go for Ormellum first, followed by Ravengard, this way you can use ormelluy top rescure others because he has an ability that can teleport to the submersible. Handy if you want to resucre every last gondian

Arrow of Transposition, Dimension door and Arcane gate are awesome lesser used tactics. NPCs will use your gate too.

I feel like if you went particial illithid the iron throne can actually be very easy.
Omeluum is in the same room as the parasite and can teleport you back to the ship, tho i only learned about the teleport recently I was getting on just fine without it
