L-605 is a Cobalt based alloy with a nominal composition of 52% Cobalt, 20% Chromium, 15% Tungsten, and 10% Nickel.
The UNS designation is R30605. Typical applications are for components requiring high strength at temperatures up to 1500 deg F or oxidation resistance up to 2000 deg F. A solid solution alloy, it cannot be further strengthened by heat treatment.
