Leg Press Foot Positioning Explained
1️⃣Placing your feet lower on the machine will involve more knee extension. So the quadriceps get trained harder.
2️⃣If you place your feet higher on the machine, there is greater hip extension, so the glutes get trained more.
3️⃣When you widen your feet positioning, the tension on your adductors or inner thighs increases.
Of course, the Leg Press will always train the quadriceps, glutes, and adductors together. But you can change the focus based on how you perform the exercise.
