HYROX PRACTICE RACE 2 WEEKS OUT

We are now just 2 weeks out from Dallas. I did a 1/2 distance practice run at the gym to see where i'm at. Time to taper from here on out!

Looking fit. I recently did my first hyrox here's a few tips I'd offer.

Make sure to study videos of sled pull technique if you are not doing it in the gym. I lost a lot of time and wasted energy on the sled pull because my technique was awful having never done it before.
We are about the same running fitness but don't think running 4:00/km will be easy in the race because it is easy in training. I averaged 4:02/km it was NOT easy! Don't go off too hard.

Sled push was very easy compared to training and I'm not a big guy. I wouldn't worry about it.
An obvious one but take on plenty of water/electrolytes. I started cramping on the wall balls
Burpees were way harder than I expected. Another reason to take it easy in the first half of the race.
