Special LONG REACH (260mm) Thread Restorer Set for 16v and V6 engines deep seated spark plug threads.

You know the situation...cross threading STARTS AT THE TOP OF THE THREAD. These AST INTERNAL Thread Restorers use the GOOD THREADS at the bottom for alignment AND WORK UPWARDS.

AST INTERNAL Thread Restorers pass down through the
spark plug hole and then EXPAND into the GOOD THREADS
at the bottom of the hole. By working the Restorer back
up the threads it aligns and RESTORES MINOR CROSS
THREADING damage as well as CLEANING the threads.

Cheers guys. I am in Boise, ID. U.S. You show the easy method in which to use a thread restorer. How come I had to find you in the U.K. to see how bloody easy this is. My local auto parts had me trying a tap when I can't even see in the hole. Now I will fix the fricken threads in my 92' Chevy 3500, 7.4L V8.

you should show the proper way to install a plug. by hand with your fingers. it avoids this issue in the first place. once started then you can put the ratchet on it. though i like your system. just something to think about.
