Parkland Parents Angered Over Life Sentence for Gunman

‘I pray that that animal suffers every day of his life’ — The parents of Parkland victim Alyssa Alhadeff voiced their anger after a jury recommended the gunman be given life in prison without parole—instead of the death penalty—for all 17 counts of first-degree murder.

I think you’re taking this all wrong. I’ve raised four children have four grandchildren, and if this happened to me, I would not want that guy put to sleep with a simple shot. I want him to rot in jail for the next 80 + years and become a pincushion for the other losers that are in there, which I think is far more treacherous than going to sleep forever, as long as he never gets out.

Not to start anything, but life in prison is better then DP
in my mind DP is the easy way out for the murderer,
To be in prison, for life, just waiting for his death, is more punishment.

Why would you want them to have the easy way out? I'd prefer he suffers the rest of his miserable life in jail.
Apart from that no other Western country has the death penalty anymore. Only the US. How can you punish someone for killing, by killing. Its barbaric and pointless.
How can you say the rest if their natural life in jail is 'nothing hapoens'.
I'd rather be executed than live in jail for the rest of my life.

Scott Biegel’s mother had a great idea of parents drawing straws and torturing the shooter how they want. I feel like the shooter got pampered this entire time while the family just suffered.
