I'm glad Tom called Gayle out. Her questions are so obvious, she often interrupts people even though she has nothing important to add...In this interview she had no clue of the storyline but still asked silly questions and even pointed out being totally unaware of plotline. Not trying to be mean I just don't think she's very smart or a good interviewer. I think having a best friend named Oprah helps her a lot.

I thought that maybe it would be a different ending to Forrest and Jennie’s life. As a matter of fact I think that would make a great film. Jennie doesn’t die and her and Forrest have an incredible life together.
