This is my fist official review of the Stihl HT133 pole saw pruner and it is the best one I have ever used and I am very grateful to have a really nice one of my own after all these years and if you get one of these I am sure you will be happy too. Thanks for watching my video and I wish you all have much success the remainder of the year in life and in business.

Thanks for uploading this. I'm thinking about buying a tool such as this and seeing it at work has convinced me it's the right choice.

Thanks for the review and demo!
I am trying to slowly get into tree removal and tree service and I really like the looks of your setup.
Do you have any videos where you show your truck and trailer "in action" as far as loading and hauling away a big tree you removed?
Thanks!

I was wondering how the new pole saws are doing compared to the older ones...I'm tired of replacing shafts

How do you like the pole saw? It’s been a while, do you still like it?

hey man I've got a big pruning job coming up. I've been thinking about picking on of these up I understand this is a review of you first operating the saw. Do you still like the saw? from the reviews I've read it seems like some of the other pros hate the saw. I was wondering if you still like it after a few months of working with it, or should I go with the echo?

Good video as always. Trying to decide on a polesaw now between this one and the Echo PPT-266H.

Do you guys get rid of the wood or keep it for yourself or sell the wood? Curious.

Can't remember the size pole saw we have but we have had a Stihl saw for about 15 years. The head is heavy and is hard to get tight to the tree for trimming, but It is a dependable tool. Cranks on the third or fourth pull after all these years and operators. I work/worked on a golf course as superintendent and later as equipment manager. We go through 5-10 guys per year and my job is to make sure they are checked out on what they operate. Stihl just holds up better in my opinion than almost anything else. I have had to replace the shaft and housing one time from a guy running it over and about 8 years later, the bearings and shaft again from wear. My advice is to follow the recommended service and have a Stihl service shop do the work on that shaft and head. You won't regret the investment. Good video. How is the leg doing? Gonna be alright in the future I hope. Keep them

I'm sorry but in my opinion the new ht133 is a complete joke. At least for production tree work here in FL where we have a lot of live oaks. The predosessor, the ht 131 I believe, had it's problems but it was still a work horse. Some of the things about this new model pole saw: the bar/chain is longer but thinner thus increasing the chances of binding. The bar/chain and oil res are switched which takes a little getting used to, the bar/chain tensioner is now lefty/tighty and righty/loosey... Wierd? Not hating on this video, good and safe job. When I'm in a position where I have to powerpruner over obstacles (on roofs, over windows, pool pumps, pots, plants, screens, mailboxes etc), I personally feel the now old school ht131 has more control and gut. I've given it a few weeks and I'm trying to get used to it. Anyone feeling the same way? Also... One thing I'm overlooking is the potential that the designers wanted to create a tool that was meant for much smaller applications like smaller 1-3" cuts. End rant.

I'm glad you are feeling better. That polesaw is going to be a big money maker for you. I don't know if you know this but this has the latest model of 4-Mix engine that has some new features. The new motors have a diagnostic port like the M-Tronic saws that can be read out with the MDG-1 diagnostic hardware. The info is: machine identification (model designation, serial number and part number of ignition module), the last time contact was made with the MDG-1, total run time (broken down by time ran at idle, speed, mid range, and wide open throttle), and number of successful starts. It also has simplified valve adjustment process that the valves can be accessed by the spark plug service cover. There is an additional mark on the flywheel for top dead center. The correct flywheel position can be determined even with the shroud installed I also love the simplified starting with the choke automatically returns to run when you press the throttle. Keep up the great work.

Stihl should have a recall on this piece of crap .bad design cheaply made and no better than a home model.I got suckered into it and am not very happy.
