I also cut the yellowing leaves. I like my plants to look nice. Lost my fear of cutting leaves a while back. 😂

Jeff! I watched this video in stages, as I swabbed out my plant supply cart, using it as a reward when I wanted a break. Such a good idea to show the reality of a plant collection, taking us along as you show how you groom each plant and let us in on your process of determining what's needed. I get a big kick out of "I don't pay too much attention to (insert Interwebs advice); really we all have to find our own way with all the variables it takes to grown indoor plants. Thanks.

Hi Jeff, great video! I always cut off yellowing leaves. One thing I read was...sticky bug traps are yellow because pests are attracted to the color yellow so that was a good enough reason for me! 😊 👍

I also chop the ugly leaves off. 😊 I have a few that I need to check. It is hard to find time to keep everything looking pristine. I will check out that resource you provided. Thanks Jeff!

So much for a relaxing Saturday.😆 All the talk of Thrips and Spider Mites had me doing a rare Saturday inspection of my Plant Babies because some of the leaves looked a bit rough.🤣 Nothing found.😉 Great video!!

Great video :) Even in the wild, plants look pretty beat up sometimes... I think the pictures we see can be deceiving, if you look closer, there's plenty of yellowing, brown straggly foilage, it's just sort of sometimes hidden among all the lushness of newer fresher growth all around.

It's so funny that you never seem to appear without your pencil in your ✋️ hand✏️ 😅 which just so happens to be a favorite garden tool for many 🤷‍♀️🪴

Good Grief! I looked around and noticed my Burl Marx Fantasy was looking super sad. I think I’ve not watered it rushing around same as you working a full-time job. Not the end of the world but darn it!

I used to work in a hairdressing shop where she would trim the edges of brown off the leaves lol I’ve done it since I guess perfection at its finest 🤦🏼‍♀️Truly I’ve always just cut off a leaf I didn’t like yellow misshapen so good to hear ! Jade looking amazing ❣️I like the squer idea I used to have a water meter but thanks for the reminder of the squer PS I can’t seem to spell this correctly 😂✌🏻

As for cacti, I put them away for hibernation during winter, in a cold room. I then water sparingly occasionally. This will trigger flowering when they wake up!
