I made you another shell challenge!

RULES:
Shell rules:
1. Download the shell off the gallery and turn it into whatever you want!
2. The only "rule" is that the existing exterior walls must remain the same. So the "shell" of the building must stay, but you can add anything else!
3. Foundations, platforms, wall height changes, patios, balconies, roofs, interior walls, etc. are all fair game! Add whatever you want, just don't change or move any of my existing walls!
4. Post to #SimsieWelcomeShell when you're done!

Dream Home Landscaper. Hear me out--it's like Dream Home Decorator but instead of remodeling homes you re-landscape them. The pack includes bushes, shrubs, flowers, small potted trees or saplings, some new terrain paints, a couple of arbors, rocks, and the ability to create water features like waterfalls.

I’d love to see a “only completed rooms” challenge where you have to build a house just from the completed rooms you can buy in build mode.

I’d love to see you build something really out of your comfort zone, like a retro mid-century home in Del Sol Valley or some Danish pastel vibes to stray away from the blue swatches.

I said this when they said the game was going free, and I'll say it again: I am SO looking forward to seeing what creativity and creations this new influx of players will bring! This challenge has taught me that everyone sees and makes something unique and interesting, so the more the merrier. So glad you made a welcome challenge, SUPER EXCITED for the tours down the line!!

My mom is in the hospital right now and we are unsure how long she will have to stay, so I've told her I will download and help her learn to play the Sims 4 on her laptop! We may soon gain a 51 year old new simmer! (Disclaimer: My mom is fine, she's having a leg/mobility issue but it isn't life-threatening so she will come home sometime!)

A series of creator themed kits would be really cool. Lilsimsie kit, James Turner kit, Dr. Gluon kit, Deligracy kit! have each creator pick a limited number of things they can have in a kit and create one revolving around what they think would be the most important thing added to the game. Now these are kits I would buy!

Wow! I actually just submitted mine to the gallery last night and it's crazy how we did a lot of the same things, like the balcony off the top floor, the partial wrap around porch in the back, the clothing shelves upstairs, and the desk nook in the bedroom. I promise I didn't look at your build first! Wow! Of course, yours is 100x better, though! I've had the game since release but never really built anything before and it was a ton of fun to do a shell challenge. Thanks, Kayla! 💜

I just started this 3 days ago. It's my first build. From the outside it actually looks a lot similar to Kaylas🤣 Probably because she is the one who introduced me to the Sims and therefore I kinda "think" and build like her since I have no own experience 🤣 It took me 6hrs just to get the rooting, Windows etc down and honestly I hate it😭 It's still clipping but even with tutorials I can't fix it...

After watching tons of your videos, i felt like building houses was easy. Truthfully, you’ve shown so much information that i didn’t know about that made it so much harder. i am baffled at how easy you make amazing roofs and shells. Like, it actually looks like a house. I essentially go room by room to create, i never start with full walls or a plan in mind, which usually ends in creating one big, boring house. I am grateful for you always, but you’ve definitely challenged me to step outside my comfort zone and try new things. well done.

Simsie, you should give us a roofing tutorial like all the different ways you can use the roof shapes and which is best for certain weird spots stuff like that if you haven’t already! I suck at roofing 😭
