This channel is all about a 12-year-old, middle budget drama and I'm totally here for it

The best part of this scene is how Carmelo appears out of thin air when summoned.

I hadn't known that Ben Kingsley was originally playing John Tuld. He would have been excellent, of course. But I think Jeremy Irons was superb, absolutely the right person for the part. He had ice in his veins.

The more information I get about this movie the better.
I absolutely love it, and I can’t really say why. Probably the writing and the performances of the actors. Something about it is just superb.

One of my favourite movies! I always thought it felt like a theatre play, so interesting to hear that fact. I would love to see it as a play!

Don't know how I missed this originally, but, I'm here now!

Thanks for these "insider" tidbits. It's always interesting to see how changes to the original concept/script of a movie effects the final product.

The greatest Margin Call YouTuber on the platform returns (but I’m excited to see your non-Margin Call stuff as well!)

What fun facts do you know about MARGIN CALL?

Working on a longer, non-Margin Call video essay! But I try to post once a month, so I made this video. Thank you so much for your patience.

The guy in the blue shirt behind Tuld at 1:08 looks like the JP Morgan Chase guy in The Big Short during the ISDA scene.

Do a video on the fire sale. At first glance people think that will is completely deceiving his counter parties however if you listen carefully he gives hints like:

I've got some risk I need to move
Today is moving day
I'm only sharing this with you right NOW

His giving his counter parties hints, there is risk, we're clearing out, and we going to be contacting more people to sell.

I think this is extremely smart of will because now there's a chance he can keep his relationships with his counter parties without burning the bridge. If we assume they're smart and they pick up on the hints will is giving that information is priceless.

2:47 »Margin Call« feels like it could be a stage play indeed — my mind inevitably went back to the many times I watched Sidney Lumet's courtroom drama »Twelve Angry Men« which essentially tool place in a conference room. That movie originally was written as a stage play.

I think it would make a marvellous stage play .... it has the contained claustrophobic feel that a stage could do perfectly...and it is essential dialogue driven as the stage often is.
