Exams increase pressure because it leads to rote learning and the biggest drawback of exams is grading system because everyone is different and cannot be judged on the base of same path ranks creates pressure from family and under this pressure student study(memorize) day and night without caring about their own mental well being aiming for better rank forming a senseless race
