I love that they actually have actual pricing instead of this "contact for quote" nonsense that I've been encountering.

Our sanctuary is not large, roughly 40' x 75'. Without going into lots of detail and reasons why, we needed something far better than a projector & screen. We priced an LED wall, but it was too much. We went with an 85" LED TV. The results were/are outstanding! Granted, a larger sanctuary would need something bigger than 85" (hence, a video wall), which is one reason this video by Collaborate Worship is so helpful.

I’ve been looking for something like this for 3 years, you guys have no idea how happy my pastor it’s gonna be now. I got a quote from another company and it vas over 30k, so this is perfect! As always excellent content

Thanks so much for posting this information. I've not had luck finding installation and cost information in my own searches. We recently put lots of money into better a projector and screen but are plagued by ambient light as well as a window behind the screen, both causing poor on-screen images. I recently saw an LED screen in use in another church and was blow away with its color and brightness. Your info here will put us on a practical path to solve our issue!! And at first look here, it appears we can put in 2 (left and right sides) LED screens for nearly what we paid for a large projector, custom lens and new retractable screen.

Thank God I found you and thanks for the video. Our old projectors are just no cutting it in qualiy, and we have a fairly large church. And some older elders want to replace with tv's and I keep telling them a tv will look tiny up there.. and I was just telling them about more expensive projectors, but this seems more future proof !! And would be worth the cost!! So thank you !

Our projector tends to vibrate a bit when the front (ceiling-located) A/C unit kicks in. Being in San Antonio that happens quite a bit, so we've added some cushioning to minimize the vibrations. One day I hope to have the budget to get rid of it completely and move to something like this... :)

If the projector moves from drum kicks, you can just add a heavy weight to the projector mount. The more the better but I would suggest 50lbs or so. Of course you need to beef up the mount to hold the weight but more inertia = less movement. As for the building moving in the wind, can't help you there. Hope your roof doesn't blow off in the next storm!

As someone who runs / works with a LED Screen hire company, best advice is to get your processor set up and run a test pattern, we use a colour swipe.

Whilst your test pattern is running, build each row and check to make sure that there are no pixels out etc….

LED Screens are the way to go.

There was a set of railroad tracks about a 1/4 mile from my previous church. So whenever a train would go by it would shake the projector

Great job with this video. Our church meets in a movie theater and we use their projector and screen. Their projectors cost over $30K each... I wonder if this will be the next wave for theaters too? You only briefly touched on the rest of the hardware and software involved to run the screen and the movie business has pretty tight security on their films. They are delivered electronically and you need an electronic key to open and play them from the projector software. Just curious how that would work with this LED Wall tech. So cool! Thanks for sharing your experience.

I did exactly the same led screen last year just for 3500$. It’s took me one full day to assumably and it was not so easy)

What Hazer do you guys suggest for a smaller size church building like yours?

Have you had any issues with wireless interference? Are the power in and power out (daisy chain) different colors? I've heard of these walls before and those were two of the complaints I saw.

At a church building in the south east US, the projector mount was attached to the metal roof truss. During the heat of the day, it moved enough to move the image off the screen. Every week (and sometimes even between early and late service) we would have to adjust the keystone and image shift to get it back on the screen.

We are currently running an Epson laser based projector, it is mounted off a side wall, and the only time we have any issues is with strong winds that move it about a touch, although the fact that a brick wall is moving is of more concern than the image bouncing a touch.
Actually our biggest woe is our livestream where we use a pair of PTZ IP cams, the lag in the video is a right pain, we try and delay the audio to match but they always drift, so wide-ish shots are better as the crap lip-sync is less obvious.

Hey there, can this type of system display a regular signal and play movies or sports games from roku? ? I am building a wiffleball stadium and would like to watch games outside.

Wow! Curious to know if your getting any video banding. What type of cameras you have and what frame rate are they're set at (24/30 fps shutter speed)

Thank you so much for making this helpful video! I've been looking for a good kind of projector that would work well in a church where the lighting of the sanctuary is well lit. LED walls seem like an good option to consider. What I wanted to know is what kind of BenQ Projector were you using and would you recommend its use in a church setting that is well lit? If not, what kind of projector would you recommend for a well lit setting? Thanks again and God bless.
