That's why we couldn't go, we went in March this year and we visited this place. We tried going up to the head but there were signs saying it was closed. We we a bit disappointed, but we still enjoyed the view and the hourly show

I seriously hope they reopen it one day. That was one thing I was a bit bummed about when I stayed at that hotel back in July. Still an amazing experience because his head was right outside my window.

Just to clear up some confusion, a Japanese man in his 20s or 30s climbed past the barrier and wanted to end his life by jumping off the Godzilla building back in 2023. This is the reason why the Godzilla tourist spot is closed off to the public. It wasn't some idiot American tourist, but a local Japanese.



Fortunately the man was saved and brought back down to safety. My condolences goes out to this man and many others who have suffered the same.
