I really liked this episode. Much in the vein of mythbusters, Linus is taking the time to pause, ask what he believes, and why he believes it- even if it seems elementary. That's science.

Now use a custom water loop with the radiators vented outside. Can be done fairly easily by either piping the coolant to a single large external radiator(friend has one mounted to side of his house) or build a box to contain the heat and use a duct and duct exhaust panel made to fit in a cracked window(partially opened). The box containment method requires an input fan to keep flow going and will of course exhaust some conditioned air outside but if done properly you'll end up saving in the long run.

You can ensure nobody will break in by using clamps to stop the window from opening further or using a wood dowel cut to fit.

As much as i really appreciate the time and effort put into this episode and the whole series in fact, i dont understand the reason behind this video. Its surely an interesting science lesson, for children, but in this case i think it missed the target audience by a mile. im not hating, i just don't think experiments at this level are appropriate for this channel.
