How To Set Custom Notification Sounds For Different Apps On Samsung Galaxy S23's

You can set custom notification sounds for different apps on your Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra. Learn just how to do that in this video.

You can do this to differentiate between a notification from Messages, Twitter, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Gmail and any other app.

You will need to go to each app and set a custom notification for each to achieve this end result.

These aren't custom notifications.
Custom notifications are the sounds you download and want to use. This video only shows you how to add any of the other built in sounds. So this is not helpful. I want to know how to add my own sounds that i downloaded or created. Seems like Samsung removed that ability and that sucks. Switching from s23 to a different device for that reason.

Was really annoying me how one app kept making the "default Samsung noise" instead of the "Huawei noise" everything else had been set to do.

This only works for Gmail and only Gmail for me. When I get an email it makes the new notification sound so that's great. However I went in and changed the sound for several other apps this same way and I still get the same notification beep as with my text messages. Why is it still using the same sound for all those even though the same process has proven to work for gmail?!?
