David Hayter is primarily Solid Snake hence David is David. Big Boss is not just David Hayter, he is a collection of voices depending on his position in the story.

Didn't realize that Snake's [Big Boss & Solid Snake] original voice actor would make a big difference only after hearing Kiefer Sutherland saying "Kept you waiting huh?!"
Gonna miss David Hayter's voice playing as Snake :(

No, he voices Huey, who is the father of Hal (Otacon). This is another prequel game, the sequel to Peace Walker.

No one was disappointed when Richard Doyle did Big Boss, still I feel you bro on so many levels like, a million MGS fans have poured out 40z for Hayter

Problem i have with David Hayter playing Big Boss is that i would always have it in my head that i was playing as Solid Snake, it would be good to help separate the two in my mind and having a new voice is the best way. I don't/mind care that its a well known actor, it wont affect me but will give some more attention to the game from the media (well... some)

I believe that Big Boss is going to be Sutherland, whilst Solid Snake will be Hayter. Some time in the game they will encounter each other as it has happened in MG.

I'm sure Kojima knows what he's doing. It's clear that Skull Face isn't the main villain and I imagine this game will fill the gap between Peace Walker and Metal Gear on MSX. I'm sure he's got many tricks up his sleeve.

Right. I also noticed that it sounded like Sutherland was going to voice Imsheal ( the unknown soldier in The Phantom Pain trailers ) So It's hard for me to understand what this all might entail. But from what I'm thinking is that this is one big troll set up by Kojima, and that when the game itself is out, we might hear David's voice, At least during the Ground Zeroes part, and then voice change after the 9 year coma. Would be my best guess.

I also noticed Randolph being in the cast, although Otacon had no relation to Big Boss (nor should he be born or be an adult yet)... I wonder who he'll be (unless he's using a different tone of voice).

The whole conversation between Kaz and BigBoss is wrong! The guy voicing Kaz sounds like someone who knows what the hell is going on, his tune and everything is Corrected while Sutherland, the new dude, sounds like just reading a script and has no idea what he's talking about. Some part of his voice acting is good as a voice some are bad like when he said 'She Survived?'.
Playing this awesome MGS game will not feel the same as before :(
