I usually do a preemptive text with screenshots just to test the waters prior to actually sending over an offer. Often times it’s for a player they don’t want to let go of, but it ends up working out for another trade…just depends on what both teams need…if you approach it from that perspective it usually has a higher likelihood of either being received better or actually getting done…both are superior outcomes than alternatives. Imo of course.
