After this video, you will understand the hype that Robert Greene’s book garners. You will also know about the techniques of manipulation that have made the non-fiction enjoy so much fame and infamy across the globe. This video tries to analyze all the 48 laws of power as compiled by the author.

In this video we will summarize the 48 laws of power by Robert Greene and explain all the laws with animation

Do you know that Robert Greene’s 1998 bestseller, The 48 Laws of Power is banned in US prisons? I kid you not!!! Authorities feared that the book could be used as a training manual for mental warfare and that inmates can learn too much about manipulation and power. But what’s the real deal with the book?
To Greene, power is a social game, and to master it, you must be able to study and understand people. But you must always take the most indirect path to power. Many people have said that the points raised in the book aren’t really laws but maxims copied from ancient-world examples which might be applied to some modern circumstances.
I will let you be the judge on whether the laws are ‘good’ or ‘bad’ or even practical in today’s world. So, ladies and gents, I bring you the contentious 48 Laws of Power.

It's important to have this mindset when reading this book...
First, to understand the 48 laws of power, you must know two key ideas
1. you CAN NOT escape the power game. thinking you can "not participate" is as foolish as thinking that you could somehow escape gravity or make the sun stand still. Robert Greene explains why in the intro with some excellent examples
2. the 48 laws of power are neither good nor evil; they are just LAWS. If someone pushed a man off a cliff would you blame gravity for for his demise? This is the mindset you must adopt in order to learn a lot from this book.

If you're able to compartmentalized such thought process, then I highly recommend 48 Laws, otherwise, don't read it because you will have the impression that it's evil but truly it isn't ✌

I hate how people think just cause it’s not wanted in prisons they think it’s a bad book that saying never judge a book by it’s cover should apply cause if you read and take a positive look on it you’ll realize you can use it to HELP YOU yes that’s what the book is about but it’s about helping to understand yourself and how people see you I’ve watched a few podcasts now and he talks allot about self and how you can get people to see you in a positive manner

I thought the book from "Evil Dead" was the evilest book of all until I came across this.

I think I am more interested in law one. Make people above your position feels comfortably superior if you want to gain the highest hight of power.

The truth behind this book isn't to manipulate it's to understand human nature to protect your self if u choose to use it for manipulation I do u but that's not the writers intentions

Perhaps I'm being somewhat dismissive, but watching this I feel like an alternate title could have been "48 ways to be a giant jerk". 😅💙👍
