WHAT IS THE ATHEIST EXPERIENCE?

The Atheist Experience is a weekly call-in television show in Austin, Texas geared at a non-atheist audience. The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin.

The Atheist Community of Austin is a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit organization based in Austin, Texas. The Atheist Community of Austin is dedicated to promoting atheism, critical thinking, secular humanism, and the separation of religion and government.

We define atheism as the lack of belief in gods. This definition also encompasses what most people call agnosticism.

The poor guy. A life of misery, deceit, brainwashing and living in the closet. He'd have to escape to somewhere like Canada and change his identity. I hope [since this was originally 2017] he is OK. Amed, if you read this ever, take care, be strong and let us know you are safe.

The trouble for the 'Christian' trolls is that there is really no more reason to believe their thing than there is to believe in Islam.

As discussed, this caller's problems are not scientific or religious. They're cultural. He's spent a lifetime investing in these beliefs and it's incredibly difficult to admit that he was wrong all this time. How can he still relate to his society and reconcile that relationship with his new findings? He needs to contact someone that's made a similar journey as suggested. The worst thing that he can do is lie to himself.

And so the cycle continues - he'll be back tomorrow to ask the same rambling questions again and claim that we've never been able to answer them, even though we have and he's deleted all our replies 🙄

Frantically Waving for Attention is contemptuous of the very idea of unbiased reasoning /investigation, contemptuous of the idea of seriously wanting to know what is actually true as opposed to just wanting to believe that HIS ideology must be the right one merely because it's HIS. That's irrational egotism.

There is no such thing as 'atheist logic". There is logic, which is the art of using the rules of inference rigorously in order to aid understanding and avoid misunderstanding.

Desperately Waving demands answers, but won't accept answers that deal with the issue broadly in an even handed fashion. For he demands preferential treatment of his ideology, which he knows cannot win a fair contest

Waving for Attention is supposedly surprised that people use standard definitions of words. And he finds it highly suspicious, he'll have you know! 😂😅

Translating the last statement from Waving for Attention: "I know what the scripture means because the preacher told me." 😅😂

The problem, though, is that whether or not James was an actual sibling is actually of little if any, relevance. What we have here is hearsay- "I met a guy who told me he saw Jesus resurrected." Of course, if I pointed out that there are all kinds of tall tales out there, Hand Waving would have a fit: "How DARE you compare MY beliefs to UFO abduction stories or other religions. Irrelevant and immaterial!"😂

It's amazing that, expressing doubts about islam, instantly he sounded like a smart, open minded person. It's like he took a pill to free himself of the BS he was taught. Best of luck buddy, you're gonna need it
