Was about to sell my damn hot tub because of chlorine causing me to have itchy rash all the time. I was using a very low residual of 1 PPM but still a rash so going to give this hydrogen peroxide method a shot, thanks for this info.

And this is safe for the very expensive pump..filters etc?..just a little 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide every week? Exactly hie much..if done every weekend thru out the wintertime?

I just found 50% and will try it out soon, so much better than chlorine.

Do you keep it covered after putting on? I read needs to be exposed to sunlight.
