“Developing countries” and “third world countries” are a myth.

In reality, these countries’ resources are plundered by the West.

India is rich in rice, cotton, precious stones, and metals.

Sudan is rich in gold.

Nigeria is rich in oil and petroleum.

Togo, Benin, and Mali are all rich and cotton.

Kenya is rich in tea.

Belize is rich in citrus fruits and sugarcane.

Ethiopia is rich in coffee beans.

Ghana is rich in Cocoa, oil, gold, and timber.

Ecuador, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Honduras and Colombia are all rich in bananas.

Algeria, Iraq and Libya is are all rich in oil.

Botswana is rich in diamonds.

The Democratic Republic of the Congo is rich in cobalt.

Morocco is rich in textiles.

This is a non-exhaustive list but demonstrates how over-exploited many of these countries are.

That's why we call them 'underdeveloped.' So we can 'save them' and take all their resources

You wouldn't belive how many Westerners think that developing countries had no culture before colonization. Like no, we were colonized coz we had what the colonizers wanted - textiles, spices, minerals.

The US should be helping these countries develop economically. Then their poor wouldn't have to come to our southern border is search of jobs. And we wouldn't have to complain about how their low labor costs make it impossible for use to compete.

I’ve always been taught that whether a country is considered developed or not, it’s not only about the resources or money they have, it’s also about how “socially” developed the country is
