This is very relateable. I start a story by telling people too much "background knowledge" on a situation.Then backtrack at times and forget the stuff I was gonna say. Most of the time I don't even finish the story cuz I forgot the stuff I was talking about. When I do however finish a story, sometimes I ask people if they wanna hear more about the stuff I was talking about. They usually say yes or its up to you but one time a friend of mine hit my with a "not which ruined my whole day for some reason. The worst part about it was the awkward tone she said it in which was like in a "I really did not care about what you were talking about but I listened cuz your my friend tho as much as I like you I just can't take any more of your rambling that ultimately goes nowhere"way
