Hey guys! I’m Tiff - a lover of food, travel, and good vibes. After traveling to Italy when I was 16, I made a promise to myself that I would live abroad before I was 30. And I made it happen! In 2017, I tapped out of my PRgirl lifestyle to pursue an MBA in Paris. Yes, Paris! The timing was all too perfect. Jumping out of my comfort zone and moving to Paris, was the scariest thing that I’ve done in life thus far, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. This channel is my outlet for sharing more about my life abroad and the life lessons learned along the way.

In Sweden we have at least 5 weeks paid leave a year. My company has 6 weeks and my friend who works for the state (?) has 7 weeks... When you are sick you still get paid 80% and when you are pregnant you can stay home for 2 years and still get money... As a person who lives in Sweden i'm always surprised by how shitty America is in so many ways and yet most people think it's the best place in the

Girl! The United States could NEVER! Got me wanting to apply for a job in France! I literally went home sick from work today. I should've just called off, but I didn't. When I told my boss and coworkers that I was going home early, I thought I was gonna get jumped! Lol!

You explain it so well ! As a French person, I totally agree ! It is cool to take some distance to see and to understand your own culture !

Being Parisian, I actually loved your insight from an American perspective. It's really interesting. All of what you explain is so "normal" to me that I never really stopped to think about that, but I really enjoy your content :)

12:13 Major difference in France for healthcare, no copay (or very small), no deductible, and no employee deciding over a doctor if you can or cannot get this procedure you need.

Girl, ALL of your content is what I need in my life. Whew! You're literally a breath of fresh air. Thank you for this (and all) videos!! I'm 1:37 in and I can't wait to hear this because I've been getting some advice that has led me to lean more toward studying abroad vs. continuing the job search. I'm from Louisiana originally (and went to an HBCU in New Orleans), so I'm telling you - I sooo appreciate your perspectives. Hope you're well! Keep your awesome optimism and positive attitude!! Hang in there (with this job/economic shift situation). Cheers!

This is how we are at LVMH! No eating at your desk(which is sad bc i like to have a snack lol), everyone is lovely and passionate about what they do. I absolutely love it! I’m trying to get into the corporate office in France after I finish school and I’m just counting the days :)

Very entertaining, dear Tiffanie. I was in France in 1976 -1977 and the only job I could get was living with a family as a nanny for the children. I had a B.A. in French and spoke fairly well due to my junior year abroad experience. Foreigners were not even allowed open a bank account, much less work. I took the GMAT in Paris to apply to American graduate schools in business, and got into Syracuse. Always wanted to work in France, never found a way. Bravo for your success, and aren't we all glad that life has changed. The best way to learn French is to watch the news on TV. France 2. Go for it. Since 2000, I only watch TV in French. Bisous et Bonne continuation!

I lived in Paris for 3 yrs and loved it though it was tough for me. I worked in television production and media in the states and going to Paris on a student visa made finding career employment impossible. I ended up back in the states because changing my visa status just wasn't happening. I've been back to visit since leaving but really want to move back and trying to figure out how to make it happen. I'm cooling my heels in NYC but Paris is home.

Thank you so much the information. I have applied for a MBA program in Lyon and really excited about the opportunity. Listening to your take of things, I'm now extremely excited. Do you know anyone who came with their families in tow? I will be coming with hubby and 2 little ones.

Hi Tiffanie! I spent 6 years living abroad in Italy/Spain/Asia and it's really nice to hear your perspective on living in France and giving us a look in you day-to-day life. (Especially during quarantine!) As you've lived in California/NYC and now Europe I'm curious as to where/if you see a long-term place? That's my biggest challenge right now.

Sis I love all of your videos, they’re so helpful! I’m starting my MBA program this fall in the US and I’m seriously considering moving to France (specifically Marseilles) after school. I’m doing everything that I can to make myself as marketable as possible (building connections, learning multiple languages, etc). Keep the videos coming girl😍💞🙌🏾!!

I love this, so informative. I did hear the French really take time to eat slowly and digest. I wanna visit Paris one day but for now I love hearing about it. Keep up the good work.
