Ok so the new trailer for Spider-man Across The Spider-verse has just dropped and in this video we're gonna be breaking down the new characters, easter eggs, hidden details and also giving our reaction to the new look. We also know a lot more about the movie than we did when we covered the first look back in December last year.

Now Into the Spider-verse ended with Miles on his bed looking up and at this point Gwen opened a portal above him.

The first look had him slightly older and they've actually added in some extra clothes here to show that it isn't exactly the same moment that we last ended on. Therefore Gwen might have visited him from time to time.

Now the first movie had the multiversal travel effecting those that had moved across and because of this they started to glitch out. However the post credits scene showed that Spider-man 2099 had developed a device that allowed one to stabilise in another universe. Known as Miguel O'Hara I think he's gonna be the driving force of this film that pulls all the characters together from across the Spider-verse. If you look closely at Gwens wrist you can see that she's wearing something on it which will likely stop her glitching out and this is something we see in the other spider-men throughout the teaser.

In the first look we learn that Miles had been grounded but as Spider-man hadn't and this was coupled with him travelling through the multiverse himself into alternate realities. The first one we had confirmed in that first look was Spider-man India who appeared in the Spider-verse storyline in the comics that this movie is potentially based on.

Now we start off with the Sony logo before transitioning into the COlumbia one. If you slow the trailker down to 0.25 x speed you can see this change to an animation style similar to the old archie comics. From here we join Miles mother talking to him on a rooftop as he looks over the city similar to shots from Into The Spider-verse.

10:11 behind spidercop, you can indeed see the steampunk spiderverse character Lady Spider, an alternate version of May Parker from a steampunk reality who doesn't have spider powers but instead makes up for it with her steampunk gear and tech. You can also see the Spider-Man from the Marvel Mangaverse as well as the characters Spinerette and Spiderling from the Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows reality, Spinerette being a version of Mary Jane who married Peter Parker who gets her spider abilities from the tech in her suit and Spiderling being Annie May Parker, the daughter of Peter and MJ from the Renew Your Vows reality

The Scarlet Spider look has always been something that I’ve loved. I couldn’t even say how many times I’ve sketched that costume as a kid. I fell in love with it the instant I saw it on the cover of the comic it debuted on. Pretty I’ve still got that comic too!

The steam punk one is Lady Spider. She debuted in the first Spiderverse Comic series and helped 2099 repair Leopardon.

Because of the idea of Oscar playing an anti-hero as Jake Lockely, I'm pretty hyped up to see him as 2099 playing the villain/anti-hero/bad guy who changes sides midway. Cannot wait. Also, keeping Kevin's uncle's lungs ready besides my own so that when Moon Knight, Apocalypse and 2099 recreate the pointing fingers at each other meme (tell me it's gonna happen), I can unleash the monster inside me. Superior spider man isn’t shown until the shot where all the spiders attack miles. He’s in the lower left side. You can tell it’s him because you can see his full symbol. It is at the 1:56 mark in the trailer

I saw Spinneret(MJ wearing a suit that allows her to share Peters's powers) and Spiderling(Annie May Parker) who are from the Renew Your Vows comic series.

The steampunk spiderwoman is Maybelle Reilly, also there seems to be a Mary Jane spiderwoman a little bit behind her.

small correction here since paul said already he doesn't read the comics, after peter had to ditch his alien costume once he found out it was alive, he donged the bag man costume which the human torch gave him to wear. the alien costume would later escape come back to peter which he then tried to get rid of and it ended up bonding with eddie brock.

as for the scarlet spider thing, they found out the jackal made it look like the real peter was the clone but, found out that ben was the clone after green goblin returned and ben died in peter's arms and he started to melt which showed he was the clone after all.

Around the 4:44 You can see an ad for Clone College. That means MTV’s Clone High never got cancelled in this universe and went on to have more seasons.

The whole trailer feels like a fever dream. It seems so unreal but it’s a sequel to the most complete animated movie in my opinion. I loved it and 2 of 3 my kids love it (3rd on 1yr old but we working on it) if it’s anything like the first I’m here for it

At 10:44 is "Lady Spider", a girly steampunk version created by my dear friend and comic artist, Denis Medri. He's also famous for some other remixed characters from Batman to Star Wars.

Peter didn't join the FF when he wore the bag on his head. It was when Mr Fantastic help him removed the symbiote the first time. That's all they had for him to wear home.

240 different Spider Man characters!? Wow! Can’t to see this movie now! I also want to point out the clips from the Spider-Man tv show like one at 17:23 from Ultimate Spider Man in 2014 as well as 21:10 & 22:36 from the Marvel’s Spider Man show more recently. They made me so nostalgic for those shows I grew up watching.
