If Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse gets its ideal ending, Spider-Man 4's story would be under a lot of pressure. The animated film has several threads left dangling from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The movie's main conflict, The Spot trying to kill Miles' dad, could go a number of different ways. Miles is adamant about stopping that from happening, even with pretty much all multiverse Spider-Men against his decision, and his succeeding in saving his dad against all odds would be the ideal ending for the character's journey over the three animated movies.

In saving his dad from a canon event and not destroying the world, which should be impossible, Miles could also help another character's arc. Miguel O'Hara believing in hope again would be a major character turn that only Miles being successful in his mission could provide. Another major feat of Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse's ideal ending would be to see Miles befriend the Prowler variant of himself, helping him move away from the darkness. If Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse accomplishes all that, then Spider-Man 4 would have a hard time matching the animated film's exploits, being seen as the less exciting of the two Spider-Man movies.

If they do make the third movie, I kinda have a theory. Maybe it'll be like a coin toss scenario; one side would be that Miles' dad would relinquish his status as captain which would override the 'Canon Event', which in turn he would be saved. Or the other side would be where Spot makes it to where Miles would have to make a very hard choice of saving his loved ones and risk the destruction of the multiverse including his own universe, or make the sacrifice and save the multiverse. Again it's a theory

I'll be honest, this is the FIRST, ACTUALLY GOOD, Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse concept trailer. The AI voices are great (just it was hard to tell that Miguel was Spider-Man 2099) and for a second I thought this was real! Keep doing what your doing!

I am sorry but if they haven't got any footage thats not from across the spider verse, then it's definitly way to early to get out a trailer. They need to take more time with this. You could really notice the crunch in the last one, at least in the second viewing and my man there were way too many things that didn't really make sense. I love the artstyle and the general direction, so please take your time to perfect the next one instead of rushing it out
