I have been using the pinky method for months now and it works very well (after scanning lots of different fg videos on YT). I did modify it a bit as it kept coming undone. Here is my After doing the 16 wraps and two half hitches with the leader, tag and main line<<<I then do two half hitches with just the main line and the tag I cut the leader line and do two more half hitches with the just the main line and tag line again to cover any leader line exposed. It has worked well for me and I can tie it quickly on a boat or kayak. I will never use the double uni again. Now my hooks straighten out before my line breaks. Thanks Luke

Thanks for the fast way to tie the FG knot. I have one suggestion, instead of finishing with the last 2 or 3 half hitches, try using a uni-knot. seems to clean up neater and reel through the eyes a little easier.

You guys told me to stick to 16 turns and I have noticed a much stronger knot on the FG compared to making more turns because the braid wasnt digging enough into the mono when applying pressure ... You guys are the best 💚

Its a pretty cool knot, I'm still not "fast" at it, but I'll pre rig at home using the FG, and if I need to retie I'll switch to uni to uni. I also like to practice tying knots while watching fishing videos. Thanks for sharing Luke
