the fact that he call him dream instead of Dusty showed that he had respect for Dusty.

Dude, call backs will forever be the best thing ever. It’s literally like surprise cameos in movies.

"How apropo". One of my favorite Cody catchphrases. He says it often, but alsp says it like he just learned it off a "word of the day" calendar.

Steve Corino was a helluva worker and an amazing heel. He did an amazing interview with Mike Powers back in the day and he said something that really stuck: "If you want to be great at being a heel and make people hate you: don't swear." It was such a telling bit about psychology and connecting with fans in a very specific way. He credited Taz for this advice.

I was good friends with Corino - and he told me without a shadow of doubt, working Dusty Rhodes was the greatest experience of his wrestling career at that point. The reason why he got a wwe tryout in the 2000’s - not as a coach- but as talent was because of Dusty.

Heel Cody/Indies Cody is a 5-star A1 top-shelf all-time great wrestler. Right up there with Attitude Era Austin and 80's limousine riding jet flying Ric Flair.
