It's crazy how open the story is yet some people deny it.

They put it in our face and we accept it as art

As a Christian I have always liked the weekends music because it’s super symbolic of being trapped in the famous life/club where he sold his soul and the lies of fame, the weekend isn’t trying to convince everyone that his life is great because if you really listen to the lyrics it’s about how horrible and empty it actually is with this uptune beat symbolizing how the devil makes things look fun but they leave you sad and empty

This is exactly why you pray for your enemies and those who have no one to pray for them.

The story is so vivid I'm shocked people don't realise this is real and in all industries.

The devil doesn't hide anymore. He's out in the open, but non-believers either deny it or love it.

Bro I remember listening to the weekend with roughly few thousand listeners. Roughly 2 weeks later he's at millions and his music Completely changed.

Bro the fact that people are able to piece this together is unbelievable, well done.

It’s not “hiding in plain sight” it’s good marketing and feeding into the narrative that artists sell their souls which creates controversy which in turn gets people to talk and listen to his music.

He never sold his soul what he’s doing is showing and exposing what happens on the inside. He even said himself “The Weeknd is a character.” Which he emphasizes wearing the red suit to interviews and shows etc for the longest time. He’s very good at using symbolism but constantly gets seen tied in with it instead of people going “oh he’s warning us” he gets “he sold his soul now he’s fucked.” People forget how intellectual this man is and how he’s always made even before Trilogy imagery in any work of his, and he’s using it perfectly. “He’s showing what happens when an artist sells their soul.” Exactly. That’s what he’s showing us, don’t confuse it with “so he sold his and that’s why.”
