Been using the Tusk air filter in all of my bikes for the last five years. I clean the filters every other ride. I ride once a week so my filters get used. Never had a failure (foam or glue). I have yet to retire one yet. I use Klotz foam air filter oil and mineral spirits to clean the oil and dirt from the filter then rise with warm water and dawn dish soap.

I buy Tusk First Line replacement air filters for every dirt bike I ride. Never a problem or spec of dirt in the intake tract... 😉

While I do think the quality of the Tusk is good, my TPI bike would run slightly different with a Tusk filter in it. I preferred the way it ran on the Twinair. Have not tried one in my TBI.

Maxima Pro filter is the way to go. More time riding and less time screwing around with air filters.

I've used them a bunch 5-6 years back and had a couple fall apart on me. I guess I'll give them another go if the quality seems to have improved!

In EU we have 24mx which sells stuff from "Twenty". Most likely their own brand as I have not seen that stuff elsewhere. The air filters look exactly the same as the Tusk ones in the video. Quality stuff, never had any issues. A pack of 10 for ~80USD. At this price I sometimes wonder if its even worth cleaning them considering the time + cost of cleaning fluid.

Question is how long do they last with washing and the glues., I have several having 4 bikes

Just saw a Stark Varg post on Instagram yesterday. 10% more battery life and a reverse mode 🤔

I’m be yet to use a tusk filter but have never been impressed with the twin filters given the price. They never seem to seal perfectly after a few washes, and start to wear through in areas if you look hard enough.

Uni filters are solid as they have two layers. The funnel web are high quality but always seem to be oversized. So there’s a corner of the filter that’s always smashed in order for them to fit.

why dont you use no toil? I never went back to regular oil because of how hard and messy it is to clean

hey can you please review the yz250fx 2025 that just came out, ive heard so many good things about 2020, from your videos and others, the handleing and cornering along that sweet 6th gear is what convicned me. I'm scared that 2025 could change for the worse, so if you have a chance and can either buy or rent the 2025 I would highly appreaciate it. I've heard that they redeseign the chasis this time along suspension configured to ago along those changes. Otherwise ill have ot scout for a used 2020. Thank you loving your content so far.

Your test is too short. I just had two Tusk first line air filter seperate at the corner seams. When my original factory twin air filter has gone longer (over 200 hours). I use No Toil wash and oil the same on all filters.
