Thank You, for such an easy to understand webinar. I have to have my aneurysms clipped in 3 weeks, I’m absolutely terrified, but watching videos like yours, has helped me to understand better.
Thank You, again.

Wow! I am a 70 yr old female with a paraclinoid aneurysm and was trying to decide my next step via online research. I only wish I had happened upon this lecture first. Made my decision. Thank you so much.

Thank you for an excellent crystal clear presentation. I had a stroke about 5 months ago that affected my speaking. It was resolved within 30 min., but had headaches for about 3 months. . In their search & scanning they found an aneurysm. Since my Mom had a burst aneurysm when she was 51 (I am 77), they are going to do a head CT in a week. After listening to some of the doctors I have decided that I will not have the coiling they are suggesting for the fear of being disabled afterwards. When my Mom had the aneurism she went blind & lost movement of her right side. & considerable mental ability. After the surgery she regained her sight & with a lot of PT she improved in movement. I took care of her for months & I feel I would rather take a chance with nature. I was a special education teacher & know the hardship on families.

Scientists have also found that anger actually causes an almost seven-fold increase in the risk of a brain bleed. Having high blood pressure, being under stress or being upset and doing any heavy lifting or working out, can also cause your blood pressure to rise and can cause the aneurysm to rupture.

thank you. when my aneurysm (18mm) in the PCOM artery ruptured, instead of having the worst headaches prior, i was immediatwly in coma and stayed that way for 3 weeks, I had endovasxular coiling + stent

This is very informative. Thank you. I recently underwent endovascular treatment with 7 coils for my unruptured aneurysm behind my right eye that measured 30mm x 25mm which was diagnosed after waking up on Aug 31st of this year with 3rd nerve palsy. I have 2 much smaller aneurysms that will be treated next month, too. I feel very lucky to be alive and to have a very skilled surgeon here in the Santa Barbara area. Thanks again for this in-depth explanation on aneurysms.

Very informative and thorough. My mom died of a subarachnoid hemorrhage in 1992. She suffered migraine all her life and became legally blind the last few years of her life. She wouldn't go to the doctor, the stubborn old woman...not old tho, she was only 53. I miss her all the time still, 32 years later.

Thank you so much for publishing this on YouTube. This is incredibly useful with latest studies and very great clear explanation/presentation.. I have two unruptured aneurysms and I really wanted to know the latest and legit authoritative information online before I have a follow-up appointment with the neurologist which is one month ahead... So I've been so worried about my case and this video gave me so much useful information. Thank you so much again for posting on YouTube.

I have recently been diagnosed with two brain aneurysms and true sometimes you don't have them.The only way I knew something was wrong was when I had the worst headache of my life that felt like 20 bowling balls exploding behind my right eye area .

Love science and learning about our human body's functioning. I wish all students could take at least one semester of general medicine at the university.

I had a surgery on my frontal lobe, to rid me of a very severe.headache.later on when I consulted doctors in the UK & USA, I was also having MRSA; most of the time I was using aids to walk. Although, I was a sportsman playing Golf; Tennis, Squash, hockey & Soccer.
Although, I am receiving rehabilitation treatment, but I am becoming frustrated because, I can’t play sports! My questions to are the following;
a) How long would it be before I can start playing again?
b) what should I do to protect myself from getting another Aneurysm attack?
C) I would be obliged if anyone can throw light by answering the questions I have asked above.
Regards,
Khalid Aziz..

I (50f) had a grand Mal seizure with Todd’s Paralysis in April. First time with TP. I have a seizure disorder. They found a brain aneurysm. My Neurosurgeon and Neurologist are deciding between a clip or stint (pipe) procedure. I feel like a walking time bomb. If I have another serious seizure, it could easily rupture. My walk is still unsteady, I forget words, fall down randomly, double vision. I don’t drink and only smoke occasionally. I have Lupus. I don’t understand why it’s taking so long to do the surgery.
