This makes me cry 😢 but in a good way. I was a heroin addict for 30 years I've lost so many loved ones. Partners and close family. "Where were you when I was hurt and helpless" that gets me. But the universe has me now I just couldn't see it back then. Anyone who has been through hell and lost people too I am sending you pure love ❤❤❤ someone said this song finds you when you need it most. I was staring straight into the shinning sun☀️This to me is a song and message about accountability not blaming people for anything but learning and taking responsibility for your own happiness.
At different milestones in my life this song would come into my mind like it did today. You are at your strongest in life when you stop allowing anyone to dedicate how you feel. Such a uplifting and motivating song in the best of ways!

This is our song my hubby and I we met is Sept 1994 after both being dumped, he had been married 27 years, me 18, I had 7 children  (I was a foster mum ) and only 34 years old and so so scared my children would be taken from me,   so hurt so much pain, then a miracle happened and my man came into my life (after being single for quite a while and really not interested in men ) we were both heading straight for the shining sun, miracles happen its now 2017 and still madly deeply in love xxxx

Coming back to life, after radiation from breast cancer the first verse talks about where you when I was burned and broken 💔 not today I am healing Yeats of mental, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, it took cancer to open my eyes of how short time is to be wasting on people who could've love me at the worst time of my life and granted I Am coming back to life!!!

I am thinking about the gigantic effect Pink Floyd has had on my life and this song is very central to the awakening I had almost 15 years ago. It lit a fire that had almost extinguished to follow my heart into parts and places unknown or hidden by my futile attempts to “fit in.” Although no one knew and I had almost forgotten that my voyage was due to set sail, I heard this tune as a siren song to Ulysses tied to the mast! After many years now my childhood vision is center stage. I could say Pink Floyd made me do it but they just helped…. I did it because I was meant to do it.
