We're getting our rescue kitty away from crappy feast. Her kittens are setting a good example for her. They are eating 'Naturawls Raw Kitten Dinner", "Primal Freeze Dried Duck" moistened with raw goat's milk, some good quality canned food and just a bit of Orijen Kitten kibble. I'm offering them a wide variety of food while they are young. Their mama is now starting to eat along with her babies. She would absolutely refuse anything healthy to eat and cry and cry. We had to give in and feed her Crappy Feast and junky kibble or else she would starve. She was pregnant and then lactating. We finally found a better quality kibble she would eat. Then a better quality canned food she would tolerate, but she still cried for Crappy Feast. It's like crack for cats, they get addicted. The kittens are weaned now and mama just got spayed. No more Crappy Feast. She still cries for kibble. We put a small bowl out at bedtime or else she yowls all night. The kittens eat a tiny bit of it, but mama gulps it down. During the day she eats along with her babies. Some raw, some moistened freeze dried raw, some good quality wet food. It's still a work in progress.

Any "feed" for dogs, cats, horses, etc. is contaminated with solvents that are used to "clean" the process lines in the facilities that manufacture and cook these feeds.

My cats are doing very well on the raw food I feed them. Since they are indoor and still kittens, I give them goat's milk every once in a while. I am happy and they are too.

It's sad that greed motivates and compels people to concoct poisons and call it food, especially food for children and pets, and we buy this stuff unknowingly. Thank you for educating us. It is much appreciated.

Btw,
rendered fats from euthanized cats and dogs are used in bar soaps for human use. The only safe soap that is fairly priced is Kirk's Castile.

Jericho looks so serious! : ) Imagine going to the grocery store and buying "chicken meal" or "beef by-product" for your family! I did have one cat, who would only eat Fancy Feast Medleys. Dear Jess: Just a question, I noticed that my cat's poo has become very dry and I gave her some laxatives. In the box it recommends giving it to the cat (at least) once a week. I think that is a marketing ploy to encourage unnecessary use. What do you think?

Another great video, I've move my cats to Primal Foods Freeze dried and Frozen foods. Use the bone broth to hydrate the freeze dried along with raw goats milk. I also use Dave's Naturally healthy can cat food as a topping. The litter box no longer smells and the turds are small, the clumps are easy to clean out. I've also noticed that their fur is no longer dry and brittle. Momma cat's bald spot is disappearing. Yeah it costs a little more but I am saving on litter costs and my cats are healthy.
