Cats don't need that, unless they are old. It actually makes their beans more sensitive when they walk. They need that extra hair and layer of support, kind of like we do. Our feet get sensitive if we have no calluses at all on them.

Please do not trim the hair inbetween the toe beans they are very fragile and the hair is there for a REASON. You should only shave on the surface.

‼️WARNING - DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS WITH PETS‼️ I’m a registered veterinary technician, and none of this is necessary, and could be harmful for your pets. Cats clean themselves, so firstly they don’t need to have their feet cleaned with shampoo. Secondly, if you put any sort of topical lotion on their feet, they will ingest it when they go to clean their feet by licking with their tongue. Therefore, the cat will ingest these lotions and ointments which can cause stomach upset, diarrhea, vomiting, and even death if the lotion has something in it a cats body cannot digest. Cats are not humans, so what’s safe for us is not necessarily safe for them. This video is definitely not something to aspire to.
