the fact that you can see childe using his Foul legacy was super super tired and in the end we see his mask breaking and had many cracks and the armour was also damaged and in cutscene his voice sounded different... which tell me that he was fighting the whale in a different world and it looked like a whole different realm (like when ei fought raiden robot in her second story quest) but this realm had no time changes so that means childe was using his Foul legacy for like more than a month after he escaped from the fortress of meropide
